Why the name "Ultimate"? I wanted to design a sled that allowed me to have maximum sled rigidity, modular design, functionality, lightweight, and ability to make use of the most advanced digital technology available. The Ultimate is truly the most advanced sled ever designed.

FEATURES:

Bayonet mounted upper camera platform. Dedicated video in and outputs, video distribution amplifier, all inputs and outputs correctly terminated. Drop in style quick release dovetail plate.

Bayonet mounted top and bottom 2" carbon fiber center post. Standard length 19-32". Super Post length 37-66". Our custom wound carbon fiber posts are 15 times more rigid than current designs. Bayonet mounts allow you to change over from a standard to a super post in 3 minutes. No additional gimbal or additional camera platform is needed. All correct power, signal and video conductors and connectors are internal in the post.

Bayonet mounted lower electronics housing. We have written all our own firmware and software that allows the user to program the functions to suit their individual needs. We have designed our own power supply that will continually feed 12 and 24 volt systems with the necessary current at all times. This power supply is so efficient and so powerful, you could run an Arri 435 up to 150 fps on a single 45 watt Nicad C-cell battery pack. The standard and optional features of the lower electronics housing contain:

LCD Display - displays all functions and programmable selectable settings.
Battery Management System (BMS) - shows combined battery voltages and individual remaining capacity of each interactive battery. Selectable battery voltage inputs. Programmable low battery indicator threshold (range from 9.6 - 15 volts). Programmable automatic sled shutdown (off, 5, 10 min.). LCD display on/off. Allows you to run your sled on 1, 2 or 3 batteries of any voltages any battery chemistries.
Programmable Digital Level with Crosshair - same programmable functions as our other PDL's. We have incorporated the sensor and software directly into the sled. Features are: rezeroing your sled at any angle with the touch of a button. Level on/off, sweep direction, programmable sensitivity range - 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 degrees, five different reaction times, four different visual displays, four different sizes and more.
UNO Digital Frameliner - Allows you to program a single white frame line or a black border outside the frameline for your transmitted image only.
Select and User Adjust Keys - allow easy programming of all menus. On screen text reinforcement on both the TB-6 and the LCD display.
Selectable Record Deck Power Supply - allows you to turn on and off the power supply, selectable 7.2 and 4.5 volts DC, plays back on channel 2 on your TB-6 with the touch of a button. Also, we have added a selectable standby mode that will automatically turn power off to your camera during video playback.
X - Y Fine Balance Adjustments - can be set up to have adjustment knobs on left, right or both sides of the lower electronics housing.
Battery Mounting Plates - can be either PAG, Anton Bauer or a mix. Your option.
