Ultimate Gimbal
The first no tools, positive locking Gimbal design
that
interchanges with all current post sizes.
ULTIMATE GIMBAL
Your no tools adjustable gimbal is one of the most precision, operator
friendly designed gimbals ever. This ultra smooth, practically friction
free gimbal design has taken ergonomics and functionality to a new level.
The symmetrical gimbal design allows the operator to have
the exact same feel whether you are operating your sled in high or low
mode. The symmetrical fork, sleeve and dust cover design allows for
more finger room when you are working in low mode so as not to hit your
thumb on the fork as you are passing the sled around the front of you,
or visa versa.
With a half turn of your Kipp handle, you can unlock and
adjust your gimbal never fumbling for that wrench, or having that collar
spin around away from you as you are trying to tighten it down.
The Ultimate Gimbal design can be ordered for 1.5", 1.58"
and 2.0" center post designs. One of the many features of this design
is its ability to be used on different diameter posts. This design allows
you to always keep your fork, yoke, bearing cup, main center post and
all bearings, the most expensive gimbal components, and simply replace
the gimbal knurled sleeve and cover for a small fraction of the cost.
Why would you want to waste a perfectly good gimbal because you wish
to increase your sleds rigidity? Only the highest quality ABEC 7 or
better (special ordered main center post bearing) are used for longevity
and performance.
Weight of the 2" Gimbal, with standard 115 degree handle
and built in 2.10" over sized grip, neoprene grip, Kipp handle is 1
lb. 7 oz.
ERGO Handle

Also available is our very uniquely designed ERGO handle. This very
popular item is being used by most all Ultimate Sled operators, and
many pro gimbal owners.
It allows the operator to fully wrap his hand around
the gimbals handle naturally, part of the ergonomic design. Never again
will you be operating your sled holding on to the gimbal handle with
two or three fingers. You will have your whole handvery comforatable
and in complete control at all times, no slipping of those sweaty fingers
off the handle.
This design also allows for complete clear view of your
monitor screen. You will no longer have to imagine seeing through your
hands to view your monitor.
You would never again have to use an F or D bracket in
low mode work. Since feel is very important, why should working in low
mode feel any different than in high mode? This handle allows you to
always keep your ERGO handle in one position never impeding with a camera
body or sled in low mode situations, always giving the operator the
same feeling on the sled.
The ERGO handle is interchangeable with the Paddock gold
ring gimbal handle, but will not fit on the C.P. style gimbals.
Available for left or right handed operators. |
